Police charge three after a house party in Maraylya

Three people have been charged after police were called to a large party at a home in Sydney’s north west.

About 12.10am (Sunday 1 November 2020), officers from The Hills Police Area Command were called to a house on Bitalli Street, Maraylya, following noise complaints relating to a house party.

Police arrived to find a brawl occurring in the middle of the road, which was dispersed.

The guests were told to leave the premises and given a move-on direction from the area.

When officers attempted to speak with the occupants of the rental property it’s alleged, they were refused entry to the property.

Polair, the Dog Squad and support from Quakers Hill Police Area Command and Hawkesbury Police Area Command were called to assist at the scene.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Castle Hill Police Station where she was charged with assault police officer.

The Mount Druitt woman was granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 18 November 2020.

Two youths, aged 17, were arrested and taken to Riverstone Police Station where they were each charged with resist or hinder police officer in the execution of duty.

They were both granted conditional bail to appear at a children’s court on Friday 27 November 2020.

Investigitions are continuing.
