Homicide Squad detectives have charged three people following the death of a man located in Bunbartha last week.
Emergency services were called to a car fire on Loch Garry Road on 24 December about 10am.
After the fire was extinguished, the body of a 19-year-old Wangaratta man was located inside the vehicle.
A 38-year-old Shepparton man, a 37-year-old Shepparton woman and a 24-year-old Mooroopna man have each been charged with one count of murder.
The trio were remanded in custody and will appear at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on 3 January.
