Police charge three after carpark stabbing in Pyrmont

Two men and a woman will face Court today following the stabbing of a man at Pyrmont carpark on Wednesday.

About 9.00pm on Wednesday 25 November 2020, emergency services were called to a car park on Harwood Lane, Pyrmont, following reports a man had been assaulted.

Officers found a 37-year-old man with stab wound to his right shoulder. He was treated at the scene by ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.

A crime scene was established and detectives from Sydney City Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the attack.

Following inquiries, investigators went to a residential unit at Chiswick yesterday (Thursday 26 November 2020) and arrested a 32-year-old woman and two men aged 33 and 34.

The three were taken to Burwood Police Station and each charged with robbery whilst armed with an offensive weapon cause wounding/grievous bodily harm.

All three were refused bail and will appear before Burwood Local Court today (Friday 27 November 2020).
