Major Drug Squad detectives have today charged two men and seized a commercial quantity of 1,4-Butanediol, equipment used to manufacture ID and credit cards, and various fraudulent identification and documents following an investigation into commercial drug trafficking.
Police executed a search warrant at an address in Southbank early this morning.
They subsequently seized a commercial quantity of 1,4-Butanediol, a small quantity of white powder, equipment used to manufacture ID and credit cards, fraudulent identification and documents and designer goods.
A 36-year-old Southbank man was charged with traffick commercial quantity of 1,4-Butanediol, possess drugs of dependence, possess equipment to produce fraudulent identifications, producing false documents, possess proceeds of crime and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.
He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this evening.
A 35-year-old Southbank man has been charged with possess drugs of dependence, possess equipment to produce fraudulent identifications, producing false documents and fail to answer bail.
He will front Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this evening.
