Police charge two after kilogram of methyl amphetamine found in Mooroopna

Police from the Shepparton Divisional Tasking Unit have charged two people after a large quantity of methylamphetamine was located in Mooroopna this week.

Investigators located approximately one kilogram of methylamphetamine when a search warrant was executed at an address in Mooroopna on 19 April.

A 45-year-old Mooroopna man and 45-year-old Shepparton woman were subsequently charged with traffick large commercial quantity of methylamphetamine.

They have since been remanded to face Shepparton Country Court on 24 August.
