Homicide Squad detectives have today charged two men following the fatal shooting of a man in Sunshine North in August.
An 18-year-old Broadmeadows man and a 19-year-old man from Ascot Vale were each charged with murder.
Both men will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later this evening.
The charges relate to the death of a 24-year-old Sunshine North man on 24 August.
Emergency services were called to a property on Essex Street following reports of an injured man about 8.35pm.
Paramedics provided medical treatment, but the man died at the scene.
