Police charge two over drug offences in Robina, QLD

A man and woman have been charged over the discovery of drugs inside a hydraulically driven coffee table at a Robina residence on April 9, 2019.

Around 7.05pm officers from Rapid Action Patrol executed a search warrant at the Parnell Boulevard residence where it is alleged a quantity of methamphetamines was located inside a coffee table which used a hydraulic motor to open.

Police also allegedly located a clear liquid suspected of being used in the production of a dangerous drug and around $4250 in cash inside the home.

A 27-year-old man and 24-year-old woman from Robina have been charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs and possession of property suspected of having been used in connection with a drug offence.

Both will appear in the Southport Magistrate Court on May 15.
