Detectives from Major Collision Investigation Unit have charged a woman following a fatal hit-run collision in Clayton on Thursday 29 August.
It is believed a woman was crossing Wellington Road near Scenic Boulevard when she was struck and killed by a car about 9.45pm.
MCIU detectives arrested a 37-year-old Bayswater man and a 33-year-old Clayton woman in relation to the incident at an address in Officer yesterday afternoon.
The Clayton woman has been charged with being an accessory to the commission of an indictable offence.
She will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
The Bayswater man remains in custody assisting with enquiries.
