Police charge woman after domestic dispute in Revesby

Police have charged a woman following a domestic related incident in Sydney’s south west.

Just after 2.30pm (Saturday 13 August 2020), emergency services were called to a home on Lochinvar Road, Revesby, after reports of a domestic dispute.

Police have been told a Ford Focus was driven into the backyard of the home and deliberately at a 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman.

The pair moved to avoid the vehicle; however, the woman was struck on the legs causing significant foot injuries.

Following an argument and a physical struggle with the uninjured man, the female driver – known to the pair – fled, hitting a fence.

The injured woman was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

Detectives from Bankstown Police Area Command commenced an investigation.

At 7.15am today, (17 September 2020) Detectives arrested a 20-year-old woman at Bankstown Police Station.

She was charged with one outstanding arrest warrant, cause wounding/GBH to person w/i to murder (DV), attempt to murder by means other than in ss.27-29 (DV), dangerous driving occ. GBH – driver manner dangerous and learner not accompanied by driver/police officer/tester.

The woman was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court today (17 September 2020).
