Police charge woman following disappearance of Canadian woman

Homicide Squad detectives have charged a second person following the suspicious disappearance of a woman earlier this week.

The 31-year-old, from Canadian (near Ballarat), was last seen about 6.30am on 17 February at her home.

Investigators have located human remains in Nambrok (near Sale) early this morning however they are yet to be identified.

A 19-year-old Altona woman has been charged with one count of accessory to murder and will appear at the Latrobe Magistrates’ Court today.

A 22-year-old Altona man has been charged with one count of murder and was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
