A woman has been charged with high-range PCA in Mudgee on the weekend.
About 1pm (Saturday 29 August 2026), officers attached to Dubbo Traffic and Highway Patrol were called to Mortimer Street, Mudgee, following reports of dangerous driving.
Police arrived and spoke to the driver of a sedan – a 54-year-old woman – on Mortimer Street.
She was subjected to roadside testing, which allegedly returned a positive result.
She was arrested and taken back to Mudgee Police Station, where she underwent a breath analysis which returned an alleged reading of 0.364.
The woman was issued a Court Attendance Notice charged with drive with high-range PCA, and is due to appear before Mudgee Local Court on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
The woman’s licence was also suspended.
