Fremantle Detectives have charged a 28-year-old woman after it is alleged she failed to take a 2-year-old child back to her mother as agreed.
It is alleged about 10.35am yesterday 21 June 2020, the woman took the child from her pram at a park in Palmyra and used public transport to move throughout various suburbs.
Police located the woman and the 2-year-old child at a residence in Girrawheen around 6.25pm.
The 28-year-old woman of no fixed address has been charged with Person Forcibly/Fraudulently Takes/Entices Away/Detains a Child under 16 years, and she is due to appear before the Fremantle Magistrates Court today, 22 June 2020.
