Glenorchy Police have charged a 17-year-old youth from Gagebrook in relation to a series of alleged stealing offences committed between 17 July and 30 September 2026.
The youth was arrested yesterday and charged with eleven counts of stealing and one count of stealing with force.
Police allege eleven of the offences occurred within the Glenorchy Division, with one within the Bridgewater area.
The total value of property allegedly stolen across the twelve offences is approximately $11,000.
The youth was detained in custody to appear in the Youth Justice Court.
Tasmania Police remain committed to holding offenders accountable and will continue to work with businesses and the community to investigate reports of property crime.
