Launceston CIB have today charged a 16-year-old male youth from Rocherlea with arson following a deliberately lit fire at a vacant residence on Cupania Street in Rocherlea early yesterday morning.
The youth was granted bail and is due to appear before the Launceston Youth Justice Court on 2 May 2019.
The police investigation is ongoing in relation to this this fire and others previously lit on Cupania Street and police believe other people may have been involved.
