Police continue to search for missing elderly Wheelers Hill couple Colin and Claudette, last seen driving in Glen Waverley yesterday.
Officers are appealing for public assistance to help locate the pair, who were spotted leaving The Glen Shopping Centre on Springvale Road about midday on Saturday 11 July.
89-year-old Colin and 83-year-old Claudette were driving in their white 2015 Mazda 2 with registration 1ER8FK.
Police and family have concerns for the couple’s welfare due to their age and medical conditions requiring daily medication.
Colin and Claudette may be confused and unfamiliar with their surroundings.
Colin is described as 172cm tall with a thin build, balding grey hair and wears glasses.
He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured long sleeve top, pants and white shoes.
Claudette is described as 142cm tall with a solid build, short grey hair and uses a wheelchair.
She was last seen wearing a hot pink zip-up jacket, floral shirt,rk-coloured pants and carrying a handbag.
Colin and Claudette left their aged care facility near Ferntree Gully Road in Wheelers Hill earlier yesterday about 11.15am.
Investigators have received information suggesting the Mazda may have been spotted traveling along the Monash Freeway, west bound, about 5.30pm last night.
Police have released images of the couple and photos of them at The Glen yesterday.
Anyone who sights Colin, Claudette or their vehicle is asked to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
