Police continue to investigate Reservoir stabbing

Darebin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are continuing to appeal for information after a man was stabbed in Reservoir last month.

Investigators have been told a 26-year-old man had been outside a Romsey Street property about 7pm on 26 April when he was approached by an unknown man.

The man, who was wearing dark clothing, stabbed the victim before fleeing south on foot along Arundel Avenue.

The victim was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

His condition has since improved and he has been released from hospital.

No arrests have been made at this stage and the investigation remains ongoing.
