Police are investigating after two people were located deceased in the Maribyrnong River this morning.
A member of the public located the body of a man in the water near Saltriver Place in Footscray about 9am.
About 90 minutes later, the body of a woman was located by a passerby near Smithfield Road in Flemington.
Neither body has been identified at this stage.
Police are investigating to determine whether the deaths are suspicious and whether there are any links between the pair.
