Police are investigating after a driver fled the scene of a crash in Sydney’s eastern suburbs earlier this morning.
About 2.05am (Saturday 27 June 2020), emergency services were called to reports a Ford Falcon had hit a power pole before rolling onto its side and crashing into a parked car.
The power line had been brought down and the area was rendered safe with assistance from NSW Fire and Rescue and Ausgrid.
The driver had fled the scene.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the incident.
