Police investigate Altona burglary

Hobson Bay Crime Investigation Unit detectives are hoping to identify two men following a burglary and theft from a motor vehicle in Altona on 26 March.

Police have been told the men forced entry into a business premise and also stole items from a vehicle parked out the front of the Maidstone Street business about 10.30pm.

One of the men smashed a window to the van and also to the business. He entered the building but ran off when the alarm activated.

The first man is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 30-years-old, 183cm with a thin build. He was wearing a trucker style hat, hooded jumper, long pants, runners and can be seen carrying a satchel style bag with skull motifs.

The second man is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 30-years-old, 177cm tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a camouflage style hat, jacket camouflage pants, runners and carrying a backpack.

Police have released images of the men in the hope someone may have information about their identity.
