Police investigate Armadale burglary and theft

Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a burglary and theft that occurred in Armadale earlier this month.

Investigators believe two unknown offenders attended the Orrong Road address about 3.15am on 1 January.

The man jumped over the locked security gate and opened it from the inside before entering the private underground carpark with the woman.

The man entered a parked vehicle and stole personal identification, a remote control and sunglasses.

Both then fled the scene carrying the items.

Detectives have released images of a man and woman they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived as being of Caucasian appearance, aged approximately 25 to 35 years old, with a medium build and brown hair.

He was wearing a fluoro yellow hooded jumper and grey shorts.

The woman is perceived as being Caucasian appearance, aged approximately 25 to 35 years old, with a thin build and blonde hair.

She was wearing a black zipped jacket, black pants and a navy Nike cap.
