Police investigate armed robbery at Annerley 7 September

Police are seeking public assistance following an armed robbery at an Annerley business yesterday, September 5.

Initial investigations indicate that at approximately 2.20 pm a man entered the Ipswich Rd store armed with an iron bar and threatened the employee.

The woman complied and the man stole the till and fled on foot through the back door onto Palmerston Street.

The man is described as approximately 175cm tall, slim build, Caucasian with an Australian accent and in his thirties.

He was wearing black Nike skate shoes, black shorts, long sleeved high-vis orange hooded top with zipper, blue baseball cap, a face mask and was carrying a dark coloured bag. He has visible tattoos on his right wrist and forearm.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have observed a person matching this description in the area around the time of the incident, or any dashcam footage, to come forward.
