Police have released vision of a man as part of the investigation into the armed robbery of a woman at Burleigh Heads on Tuesday May 31.
Around 5.30pm, a 26-year-old woman was walking southbound on the western side of The Esplanade when a man approached her.
The man produced a large knife and demanded she hand over her mobile phone.
The woman initially refused, but the man made threats to harm her and the woman complied.
The man then fled on foot, running south along The Esplanade, then along Fifth Avenue before heading north on the Gold Coast Highway towards Miami.
Detectives urge anyone who has information regarding the man depicted in the CCTV, or the offence, to come forward.
