Police investigate armed robbery at Cannon Hill 28 July

Police are seeking public assistance as part of investigations into the armed robbery of a woman in Cannon Hill on Friday, July 22.

At approximately 10.50am, a man entered a woman’s blue Toyota Yaris which was parked on Wynnum Road in Cannon Hill.

He told the occupant that he was in possession of a weapon before threatening her and demanding she drive him to the Cannon Hill Shopping Centre and give him cash.

The occupant complied and dropped the man at the shopping centre around 11.00am. She was not physically injured during the incident.

The man then stole some alcohol from a bottle shop before leaving on foot in an unknown direction.

The man is described as Caucasian, around 25-years-old with fair complexion and average height and build.

Police are seeking information from anyone who may have seen the offender either before, or after, the incident to come forward.
