Police investigate armed robbery at Coochin Creek

Detectives have released vision of two men in relation to the armed robbery at a fast food restaurant in Coochin Creek this morning.

Around 1.30am two men pulled up to a restaurant along the Bruce Highway at Coochin Creek in a black coloured utility.

One man entered the restaurant armed with a knife and the other was armed with a baton.

Once inside one of the men confronted a store manager and demanded money before they left the restaurant in the Holden Commodore ute with a small sum of money.

Police believe the utility travelled either south along the Bruce Highway or straight across the overpass towards Glasshouse Mountains on Johnston Road, Beerwah.

Both men are described as wearing dark coloured clothing with a hoodie covering their faces.

Police are appealing for anyone with further information to come forward.
