Police investigate armed robbery at Durack

Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a hotel at Durack this morning.

At 2.30am a man approached the main entrance doors and pointed a firearm at a man at the door.

Another man inside the hotel complied with the demands and handed a sum of cash to the armed man who left the area towards King Avenue.

The man was wearing dark clothing and black balaclava

Officers patrolled the surrounding area but were unable to locate the man.

Investigations into the matter are continuing.
