Police investigate armed robbery at Highland Park

Police have released vision of a man as part of an investigation into the armed robbery of a service station at Highland Park last night.

Just before 9pm, a man entered the Alexander Drive business armed with a knife.

The 27-year-old female employee ran into a secure back-room.

The armed man then forced his way behind the front counter stole a quantity of cigarettes from the cabinet.

The man then exited the store and fled on foot along Alexander Drive.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Investigations continue.
