Police investigate armed robbery at Kangaroo Point 18 November

A man has been charged after an armed robbery of 18-year-old man at Kangaroo Point overnight.

It is alleged at 11pm November 17, the man has approached a man on Holman Street producing a knife while making demands for his wallet or his life.

The 18-year-old man has handed over his wallet and phone, the male has then left on foot.

The male did not sustain any injuries as a result of the assault.

Police conducting patrols observed the male nearby and arrested him after a short foot pursuit.

The 22-year-old Spring Hill man was denied bail and has been charged with Armed robbery.

He is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
