Police investigate armed robbery at Meadowbrook 16 June

Logan Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) detectives have released CCTV as a part of the investigation into the armed robbery of a Meadowbrook service station overnight (June 15).

Around 11pm a man entered the Loganlea Road business and produced what is believed to be a firearm, pointing it at the female staff member and making demands for money.

The staff member, who was not physically injured, complied and the man fled on foot with a sum of money. Investigators believe the man left the scene in a waiting vehicle.

The man is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, around 180cm tall with a solid build and an olive complexion. He was wearing a blue and white long sleeved flannelette shirt, a dark coloured beanie with a black shirt, black pants and a surgical face mask.

Investigators are appealing to anyone with information to come forward, and are asking homeowners, businesses and motorists in the vicinity to provide relevant CCTV or dashcam footage. Anonymous reports can be made.
