Police investigate armed robbery at Mount Louisa

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza delivery man last night.

At 10.45pm, the 19-year-old man had delivered food to a Saddle Court address and then got back into his car to leave.

As he began to reverse two men approached him. One of the men approached the driver’s side window and asked for a lift.

When the delivery driver refused, the man produced a knife and held it to his throat while demanding money.

The pair then left with a sum of cash.

The 19-year-old driver was not physically injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing with officers appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
