Police investigate armed robbery at Mountain Creek

Caloundra detectives are investigating an early morning robbery at Mountain Creek in which a woman was threatened with a firearm.

Around 4.40am a woman was reversing a Range Rover Landrover station wagon from a Newry Street address when a white SUV pulled up behind her.

A man armed with a firearm approached and demanded she get out of her vehicle.

The now stolen white Landrover and the white SUV drove off.

The woman was not physically injured and her stolen vehicle – a 2012 white Range Rover Landrover with Queensland registration 849-XMV – is still missing.

Anyone who sights the vehicle is urged to not approach but immediately contact police.

Police are appealing for anyone who lives in the vicinity with home CCTV or motorists traveling the area with dash cam footage to please check their vision.
