Police are investigating after an alleged armed robbery at New Town yesterday afternoon.
At 4:45pm on Friday 9 April, police received a report of three women who had stolen some property from the Kmart store in Risdon Road, New Town.
It is alleged that when the women were challenged, one of the women has produced a weapon and threatened a female. The women then left the scene in a white Holden Viva hatch.
Hobart Police are investigating the incident and have a specific line of inquiry.
Nobody was injured as a result of the incident.
