Police investigate armed robbery at service station in Campbellfield

Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged two teenagers following an armed robbery at a service station in Campbellfield last night.

It’s alleged two armed teenagers entered the premises on Sydney Road and threatened the attendant around 7pm.

The teens fled the scene with an alleged quantity of cash and cigarettes, before being arrested by attending police a short time later.

A 17-year-old male has been charged with armed robbery, false imprisonment, theft, criminal damage and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

He was remanded to appear at a children’s court at a later date.

An 18-year-old male has been charged with robbery, false imprisonment, theft, criminal damage and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 22 of July.
