Police investigate armed robbery at service station in Seymour

Detectives from Mitchell Crime Investigation Unit are seeking assistance to identify a man following an armed robbery at a service station in Seymour.

Investigators have been told a man entered the premises on Goulburn Valley Highway on Sunday 20 June about 7.50am.

The man produced a firearm and threatened the store attendant before he demanded cash.

The attended handed over an amount of money before the offender rode off from the store on a push bike. He was last seen heading north towards Seymour-Avenel Road.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as being aged in his 20s, Caucasian and has a solid build.

He was last seen wearing a black cap with a white peak, black sunglasses, a grey and black balaclava, black Volcom jumper, black pants and black shoes. He was also carrying a black backpack.
