Police investigate armed robbery incident in Launceston

Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery in Launceston last night.

It’s alleged a male offender driving a white Mitsubishi Triton utility stole items from the Bunnings Warehouse, Lindsay Street, Invermay, about 6pm last night.

As the alleged offender was leaving the store, he was asked for a receipt by a male staff member. The offender then allegedly produced a small knife and left the scene.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police would like to speak with anyone with information, particularly anyone who saw a man driving a white Mitsubishi Triton utility in the area at the time of the incident.
