Police investigate arrow incident in Templestowe

Police are investigating after an arrow was shot into the back yard of a property in Templestowe earlier this month.

The occupant of the Beverley Hills Drive home was on his back veranda attending to his cat about 6.15pm on 5 August when he heard a loud noise behind him.

He turned around and saw a wooden arrow had come through the laser light roof and stuck into the roof of the cat cage.

No one was injured but police are concerned due to the arrow being shot in a built-up residential area.

Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
