Police investigate ATM thefts in Sunbury and Bulla

Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating two burglaries at a venue in Sunbury and Bulla which occurred yesterday.

It is understood two unknown male offenders gained entry to the Mitchells Lane premises before using a white single cab utility to dislodge an ATM about 4am.

They loaded the ATM on to the tray of their vehicle and fled the scene.

The vehicle is described as a white single cab utility, with an aluminium tray and a distinctive custom silver snorkel on the front left of the bonnet which faced the rear of the vehicle.

The vehicle is still currently outstanding.

Detectives are also investigating whether the incident may be linked to a similar attempted burglary which occurred about 3am yesterday morning at a premises in Uniting Lane, Bulla.

It is understood two unknown offenders gained entry to the premises but fled when an alarm sounded.

Nothing was stolen during this incident.

Police have released images and CCTV of the vehicle in the hope that someone may recognise it.
