Police investigate attempted armed robbery at Mount Gravatt

Police are seeking assistance to identify a man involved in an armed robbery at Mount Gravatt earlier this month.

The man is first noticed loitering around the business around 1.30pm before walking across Creek Road, behind a shopping plaza.

Around 5pm on Thursday, September 3, a man entered a jewellery store on Creek Road and threatened staff with a gun.

He has then produced a knife to further threaten staff before they were able to escort him out of the store a short time later.

He then left the area, crossing Creek Road and walking towards the shopping plaza.

The man (pictured below) is of a solid build and average height wearing a grey tracksuit. He was also wearing a black baseball cap, light blue face mask and black motocross-styled gloves.

Anyone with information that could identify the man pictured is asked to contact police.
