Public assistance is sought by police as part of the investigating into an attempted burglary at the United Service Station in Longford early Sunday morning.
Around 4:05am offenders driving a white Holden or Isuzu king-cab flat tray rammed a window at the front of the business on Wellington Street but failed to gain entry and fled the scene. Around $10,000 damage was caused to the building.
Anyone who saw the incident or knows anything about the offenders involved is asked to contact Tasmania Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
