Police investigate Box Hill North attempted burglary

Police are hoping to identify a woman following an attempted burglary at Box Hill North two weeks ago.

Investigators have been told a woman attended the Eram Road property about 12.45pm on Tuesday 11 February.

The woman stood on a chair and attempted to gain access to the property through a side window.

Nearby neighbours witnessed the suspicious activity and challenged the woman before she fled on foot towards Middleborough Road.

Investigators have released an image of a woman who they believe will be able to assist with their enquiries.

She is described as Asian in appearance, approximately 160cm tall, aged between 30 to 40-years-old and has dark shoulder length hair.

She was wearing a blue and white striped jacket, light blue jeans and black runners at the time of the incident.
