Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a burglary in Aspendale Gardens that has left a property completely ruined.
It’s believed unknown offender/s have attended the unoccupied premises on Wells Road multiple times throughout September.
The offenders have caused extensive damage inside the home, smashing windows and walls, graffiti to walls and fixtures, tearing out electrical and light fittings from the walls and ceiling and setting small fires in numerous rooms.
It is believed that a pair of football shorts located at the address may have been left by one of the offenders. They are believed to be Mordialloc Braeside Junior Football Club shorts.
The damage caused is estimated to be in excess of $50,000.
