Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Cobram last night.
Officers were called to the Toms Drive property after a 91-year-old Cobram man was found deceased around 6.15pm.
Arson and Explosives Squad detectives and an arson chemist will attend the scene today as it appears there was a fire at the scene, which had burnt out, before emergency services arrived.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
