Police are investigating the death of a baby in Seaford.
The remains of an infant, believed to be a newborn, was located by a passer-by on the beach adjacent to Nepean Highway about 4.30pm today (8 April).
Police hold serious concerns for the health and welfare of the baby’s mother and are asking for her to contact police as soon as possible.
The exact circumstances surrounding the death and the identity of the infant are yet to be determined at this stage.
