Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a single vehicle fatal crash which occurred in Muckleford this evening.
Investigators believe a Mazda sedan was travelling east on Molden-Castlemaine Road when the driver veered from the road and crashed into a tree about 9.40pm.
Both male occupants, believed to be in their 20-30s, died at the scene.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined and the investigation remains ongoing.
