Police are investigating following a fatal crash in Sale this afternoon.
It’s understood a vehicle crashed into a tree on Inglis Street about 2.40pm.
Sadly, the yet-to-formally be identified driver of the vehicle died at the scene.
The other occupant of the vehicle was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
