Police investigate firearms incident at Bridgewater

Police are investigating a firearms incident at Bridgewater over the weekend.

Three shots were fired into the hairdresser / tattooist in Hurst Street, Bridgewater, between 5.30pm Saturday and 7.30pm Sunday.

No one was at the premises when the incident occurred and no one was injured.

Police officers, including CIB and Forensics (including ballistics), are in attendance and carrying out investigations at the scene.

“This appears to be a targeted attack on the premises so there is no threat to the wider community. No one was in the premises at the time, however, police are always very concerned when firearms are being used in such a manner,” Acting Inspector Curtis said.
