A crime scene has been established following a house fire in Greenacre tonight.
Shortly before 10pm (Monday 27 May 2019), emergency services were called to a home on Maiden Street, Greenacre, after reports of a house alight.
On arrival officers located a residential home – that is under construction – well alight.
Fire and Rescue NSW officers worked to extinguish the blaze that has caused significant structural damage.
The house is not currently occupied.
The crime scene will remain in place overnight until the arrival of Fire Investigators and detectives from Bankstown Police Area Command who will conduct a full investigation tomorrow morning (Tuesday 28 May 2018).
