Police investigate indecent assault at Eglington

Joondalup Detectives are investigating an assault on a woman in Eglington on Saturday 21 March 2020.

Around 10.15pm the victim, a woman in her 20’s, commenced a ride share service in Mikado Road, and exited the vehicle on Celeste Street.

Soon after, another vehicle which appeared to be a ride share, stopped and offered her a lift.

The driver of this vehicle, described as a dark skinned man, between 30 to 40 years of age, began touching the victim inappropriately. The victim struck the driver multiple times in the nose and face and escaped from the vehicle on Shipmaster Avenue. The car then drove away.

The man was wearing a dark turban, a light coloured short sleeved shirt and long pants. He may potentially have significant facial injuries to his nose or face.
