Police investigate Mount Eliza aggravated burglary

Mornington Peninsula Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary in Mount Eliza in June.

It is believed a man entered the Daveys Road address about 1.17am on 23 June and stole cash from a handbag.

The man then went to an address on Denistoun Avenue about 1.45am that same morning and stole a Hugo Boss bag, Nike shoes, cigarettes and a security camera.

He is described as approximately 50-years-old with long hair that was tied back or may be a wig and glasses.

He was wearing a red and black top, a Globe baseball cap and mismatched golf gloves.

Investigators have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
