Police investigate petrol theft at St Albans

Whittlesea Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance to identify a woman driving a stolen car and stealing petrol from a St Albans service station earlier this month.

The incident happened at the Main Road West service station when the woman pulled up in a stolen car and filled up with petrol on 11 June at 2pm.

The car was stolen during a burglary at a Marshall Drive address in Mill Park on 30 May.

The burglary was committed during the day with the burglars making off with various household items, electronic goods and jewellery.

Investigators have released an image of a woman they would like to speak to in relation to the petrol drive-off and the burglary.
