Police are investigating a robbery at shop in Kirwan yesterday afternoon.
Around 3.05pm, three women entered a liquor store on Bamford Lane, selected some products and attempted to leave without paying.
When the male attendant confronted the women, one of them produced a weapon and threatened him.
The three women fled towards Joyce Street.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact police.
